For the Test training (B,B+,A on 14th April. C+ on 14th AND 15th April) Please make sure that you have an up-to-date syllabus to check the test requirements before attending. You can download these from The Pony Club website at www.pcuk.org Bring the syllabus along with your Manual of Horsemanship and a notebook. Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch and drinks for yourself, and hay and water for your horse. Horses/ponies should be fit enough to do two riding sessions, both flat and jumping. You may be asked to change horses during the training, so please make a note if you are unable to do this for any reason. You will receive feedback, so it would be very useful to take notes at the end of the day to pass on to your Branch/Centre coach. The cost is £75 for the day. All applications will be on online using Horse Events. You will need to give details of what Pony Club tests you have passed along with information about the horse you are bringing to the training. Entries close on 9th April. There will be no refunds after this date. For the Intro to Coaching Step 1 (15th April) This course is open to Pony Club members aged 16 and over. Also, to adults who are genuinely interested in teaching for Pony Club. Please bring a packed lunch and drinks. You will need to give details of relevant qualifications and experience, for example Pony Club tests passed, 1st aid courses attended, Safeguarding course attended etc: Entries close on 9th April. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
